Membership
Why Join AAIA?
AAIA was created for and is governed by the aftermarket industry for the purpose of providing a united front backed by the combined resources of its members to address critical problems faced by all companies doing business in the automotive aftermarket: federal and state legislation and regulations; standards for electronic commerce; inventory management; and expansion of the marketplace for aftermarket parts and services. These issues are addressed at the grass-roots level by members serving on committees and segment leadership councils. Members of AAIA are encouraged to volunteer to participate in these leadership groups.
Member Services
AAIA serves the needs of its members as defined by seven centers of Member Services: Education, Electronic Commerce, Government Affairs, Information, International Trade, Market Research, and Business Development.
Member Communities
AAIA’s Member Communities focus association resources on the special needs and interests of industry segments: Auto International, Automotive Electric, Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association, Car Care Professionals Network, Engine Repower Council, Heavy Duty Distribution Association, National Catalog Managers Association, Manufacturers' Representatives, PBE, Retail, Tool & Equipment and Trim.
Member Advocates
AAIA is the only trade association representing the entire automotive aftermarket on matters before Congress and in the state capitols. Our ability to lobby on federal and state legislation is directly related to our strength in numbers. Historically, our members are our best advocates for promoting membership in AAIA—and we ask all member companies to encourage their peers in the aftermarket to join and support their association.
| “AAIA’s support and services to all channels and levels of distribution are top-notch.” “The networking and education gained through interaction with other peers and channel partners in committees, shows, symposiums and seminars are hard to beat.” |
